IFI Hotline
Any poaching or pollution incidents witnessed should be reported as soon as possible to the IFI Hotline on 0818 34 74 24 which will put the report through directly to our local IFI officers. If you are leaving a voice mail on the hotline please be sure to leave your contact number or IFI cannot contact you for further details or to verify the call and thus it will not be acted on.
Please Also Report All Poaching and Pollution to SRT
The Slaney River Trust is pulling together a log of all poaching and pollution incidents reported so that we can monitor what is going on and make the maximum impact in our representations to IFI, the Local Authorities, EPA and Gardai to get the issues sorted out.
It is essential that we are aware of any incidents occurring so please also send a report of any poaching or pollution witnessed to reportslaneypoaching@gmail.com
In your email reporting poaching please provide details of
- the date & time
- the location
- a description of the incident including the number of individuals involved and the nature of the event eg netting, spinning or bait fishing
- any other information that may be useful.
