The Atlantic Salmon Federation news letter includes reports indicating that Canadian and even Maine rivers are having improved runs of MSW atlantic salmon. See North America. Closer to home the grilse seem to be arriving at last with Simon Ashe at Ballynahinch reporting good fish in the west. A trip to the slaney last night (20/7/11) showned no sign of any new arrivals in the river.
