The SRT webcam
The Trust provides access to a webcam situated below Bunclody which enables members to get a clear view of the water height and conditions. Following a lightning strike in August 2020, the webcam was replaced in March 2021 with funding from the Slaney River Foundation.
Access to the WebCam is NOW RESTRICTED BY PASSWORD FOR ONLY PAID UP MEMBERS. If you have not yet joined or not yet renewed your 2021 Subscription you can pay your subscription online here.
The current password has been emailed to all paid up members whose email is on file. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have paid your sub and have not yet received your password or if you find that your password is out of date.
The OPW provide detailed reports on the river heights shown by their gauges on several rivers across the country. The 5 OPW gauges active on the Slaney can be seen here. The Tullow, Tullowbeg and Scarawelsh gauges are generally the most useful as they are nontidal.
