The river was out of order for most of the weekend. In the earlier days of the week about 10 mostly fresh fish were caught on the lower river with the majority running hard. Today Monday 28th, saw 5 fish landed on the 2 beats that I have reports from including this fish of 8 to 9 lbs for Brian Hennessy on a park shrimp. It was covered in sea lice and bore the marks of a recent run in with a seal – I wonder was this one of the Enniscorthy based specialist seals?
