Overnight rain brought the river up 2″ but it is still only at 1ft on the SRT gauage – typical May fly height. Although not many fish were seen a number of sealiced fish were caught including Virginia Webb’s 8lb bar of silver which is shown being expertly returned. Clohamon had 3 fish all on cascades and lower down the river John Carroll had one small fish and lost 2 others. Please send any catch details to webmaster @slaneyrivertrust.ie
