The Enniscorthy stretch continues to perform well with several fish caught during the week including this one caught by Tony Smith. The fish, caught on a home tied cascade, was Tony’s first salmon. While the low water has slowed things down, there is clearly still a run of fresh fish coming into the river The really exciting thing is the quality of the fish this season. One angler fishing further upstream made 2 evening visits to the river during the week and was rewarded a sealiced 16 lber on Wednesday followed by a 13lber on Saturday both on a small yellow shrimp on a floating line.
