Wether conditions were very tough on the Slaney on the 3rd of April but it didnt stop Brian Hennesy landing this beautiful 38″ springer this morning on Conehead Dee Monkey. There were at least 4 other fish landed by early afternoon including this fine fish and another 18lber. There were also a number of short run hook ups. The fish were met on 3 different beats – this is quality spring fishing.
