In August 2004, the Central Fisheries Board conducted an aerial survey of the entire length of the Slaney, the resulting images of which were indexed to create a catalogue for future reference.
This catalogue was reviewed for the selection of sites for habitat works for 2005 to 2007. A selection of images provided by Dr. Martin O’Grady, Central Fisheries Board are show on this page.
