While the fishing slowed markedly down last week it was marked by the capture of 2 big fish between Clohamon and Scarrrowelsh bridges with a 15 and a 19 lb fish being taken. It would seem that many fish have taken the opportunity presented by the heavy rain in the past weeks to run upstream.
In line with other rivers, while the 2012 run has been small, the quality of fish has been excellent with plenty of fish in the teens of pounds and at least 2 fish of circa 19lbs landed todate.
