While the river opens on the 17th of March the first of this seasons springers have started to trickle into the river. While doing some bank tidying in a break between the floods a fresh fish was seen a few miles below Clohamon and others have been reported up stream. This is a reminder of the “old days” when the river opened on the 26th of February.
