East Wind Keeps the Fish Down

As the SRT Gauge drops below the 1ft mark it would seem that there is a reasonable stock of fish spread across the system with a good many having taken advantage of the prolonged period of water to head upstream of Bunclody. Lower down the river anglers are seeing a few residents appearing in the usual spots.

However, the East wind is being blamed for poor returns since the early part of last week and fish are proving very hard to rise to the fly.
